Guided Rainforest Tour

Below the lodge in our private gorge is the giant strelitzia rainforest and we would love to show it to you. From the lodge down it is a 20min hike to our private stretch of the Salt River were its a perfect spot for a quick dip or for the brave at heart we will change into wetsuits and water-shoes and guide you upriver to some secret caves in the gorge.

Coming back up to the lodge takes around an hour and you will pass through the unique giant strelitzia (wild banana) forest and cut up a side gorge returning to the ridge along a well maintained path with scenic benches along the way for a rest.

Our professional guides are a wealth of knowledge about the local micro climate and would love to tell you some fun facts and observations along the way

Private 4WD Beach Safari

Around our rocky coastlines there is many hidden spots and untouched raw volcanic beaches that we are lucky enough to have access to!

Our guides can take you to the most gorgeous untouched beaches which are only a scenic 20-30min drive from the lodge.

In our Land cruiser there is enough space for only 7 people at a time so you really get the ultimate private off the beaten track safari experience!

Rainforest Dining Experience

Our guide/waiter will bring you down to the private alfresco dining area in the rainforest gorge below the lodge. Your private chef will be awating you there with a 3 course meal of the highest quality possible in nature!

After the meal the chef and waiter can guide you back up to the ridge or its also possible to enjoy the pristine setting all to yourselves (Ideal for a proposal!)
